The Orien (\u014d-r\u0101n) are cosmic entities of unknown origin who, according to reports, present themselves in the form of enormous and ancient dragons. The full scope of their powers and abilities are unknown but first-hand accounts described them as god-like beings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Orien entities themselves are known as Threv, Zargon and Divinar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are the creators of the Consilience, a massive technological artifact from pre-Gap times recovered from the Drift. It has further been confirmed that ancient and now-extinct civilizations in the Orien cluster were under the direct influence of the Orien during pre-Gap times.
