The SEF Radcliffe is one of four Renegade-class starships requisitioned by the Starfinder Society in 316 AG. Constructed by Creality Startech, its keel was first laid at the beginning of 297 AG. It was launched in mid-298 to begin shakedown trials. It completed certification later that year and was then delivered to its original owners, Celestine Prospects, where it functioned as a prospecting vessel under the name Celestine Prophet from 299-311 AG. At that time Celestine Prospects was prosecuted for securities exchange violations and its assets were impounded.

It was placed in mothballs in 313 AG after forfeiture by Celestine Prospects as part of its overall restitution sentence; along with three sister ships in the Celestine fleet. It remained there until 316 AG when the Starfinder Society acquired it.

In good working order it completed a refit period lasting only three months and was then commissioned under Naval Acquisition Order 1800 as the SEF Radcliffe. Following shakedown trials under the command of Captain Chet Alaric, the SEF Radcliffe entered active service to the Starfinder Expeditionary Forces and was attached to the Second Expeditionary Fleet.

It is one of the first starships in the Expeditionary Fleet to be outfitted with the new C.L.E.R.I.C. system prototype

In 317 AG it participated in the Second Fleet’s expedition to the Orien Cluster. The Radcliffe and its crew were instrumental in the Starfinder Society’s efforts to thwart an invasion from an unknown dimension by alien entities known as the Jaquish. It was lost with all-hands in the pivotal Battle of the Ark, though no evidence of its destruction has been found.
